so, I wanted to ask you guys....what is the best, easiest, shortest way to answer the question "how can YOU proof that Islam is the true religion"??
I need answer for that insha'Allaah. It was kind of embarrassing because I was startled when asked that question....like I didnt know a very precise answer:shymuslima1:

Because there isn't a single thing in Islam which is incorrect - you can take every line in the Quran and verify it - all the scientific facts told from way back, and everything.

But it would depend on whether the person who asks would believe, right? I'm waiting for others to answer too.

Islam is the only religion started by the One worshiped within it. Can't say that about Christianity or any other man-made religion.

Islam is the only religion based on a revelation. This revelation still exists, to this day, with no changes made to it. And has been proven by scientists of all faiths to be free of any error.

look at the SIGNS! signs sent by Allah. in the quran there are many verses / stories, and Allah tells that on the earth there are signs.

in surah al fajr Allah tells us

#Have you not considered how your Lord dealt with ‘Aad
#also - Iram — these were the former [people of] ‘Ād

surah al fajr has beautiful verses.

"Do they not see the birds suspended in mid-air up in the sky? Nothing holds them there except Allah. There are certainly Signs in that for people who have faith.\" (Surat an-Nahl: 79)

the Quran contains miracles on science,history,linguistics etc. Its so rich in its quality that every knowledgeable person agrees that it cannot be written by any human. Its still the best in Arabic literature. 1400 yrs and no one could find any faults in the Quran. 1400 yrs and not even a letter changed

the mind is a gift when you read something and it don't make any sense and leaves you confused then its clearly not the right religion.

in Islam everything that you have ever read makes sense

type this: how can YOU proof that Islam is the true religion - your question in youtube and there are heaps of lectures that you can take notes from and present them to that person.

but dont forget, you ask him questions too. if you cant answers his question, ask him one that will make him speechless, like i wrote above.

tell him that your not a sheikh, and if he has this question, he is responsible for it, as in he MUST find it out, therefore go to a sheikh, go online and do research dont just ask people who he knows may not be able to answer them. sometimes they through big questions at you because they know your not a sheikh and unable to answer them, and this makes them feel that they won, so our job is to show them that they are responsible for their question and they must have it answered, so go do research and be nice and tell them i'll do research too and let you know.

tell them you are a muslim, read the quran and pray and fast etc, you feel the faith and beauty and blessings of it, you dont want anymore proof as Allah gave it to you in the quran and through signs of life and experiences. therefore, because they are not true believers, they dont have the understanding of the signs, the life experiences, the quran etc so they are in search of proof and will be responsible to find it out.

eg: when your driving and amost cause an accident but somehow you were able to drive away safely, you will straight away think 'oh thank you Allah, thank you for looking after me' and you believe the athkar or supplications you recited saved you. as for the disbelievers, in this case, they dont believe in Allah so they will walk off saying oh im so dam lucky. well guess what, they might not be next time.

so thats why you dont need proof, you have it in you heart. so he needs to know that thats why you were unable to answer him at the time. but you did research for him and realised he should be doing it too.

alhamdulillah brothers n sisters r coming up with good points n information.....

i would like to add one thing.... Islam is not just a religion ... its the complete way of life which tells us what to do or not and how to.

others may tell good things like- feed the poor hungry...but islam together with telling all these wonderful things even ell us how to reduce poverty (Zakat system),,,,, etc

for example wn we go to school/college there are rules n regulations, whn we go to office/company there are rules n regulations.... so what does people think Allah has sent us without any rules n regulations???

so the rules n regulations which our creator has drafted for us as per our nature......That is Quran n Hadeeths.... yes sometime we may not knw the logic behind the particular rile n think otherwise....but sometimes i am unable to solve my Maths question that does't mean that the Question is wrong

This is what islam is complete way of life..

each n every act of our body n soul we do in our 24 hour becomes worship if we do it according to the Quran n sunnah....

i was reading one revert's story(Jew) who wrote it is mentioned in OT that "Always Pray", he usd to be amaze how???

he acceptd islam jst after knowing the concept of worship ...

My answer would be that Islaam is the only religion which is teaching us how to live, eat, dress, and behave in every part of our lifes, on the natural way how Allah has created us,and what is the most importante is that Islaam is the only religion which is teaching us how to worship on the most beautiful way to only God- Allah, The Most Exalted,and it is the only religion where the most of Muslims cry after listening verses from Quraan. It is the only religion which is giving so high status to women, with comand of Allah, that women should be always covered infront of her non mahrams, and on that way giving a Muslim women high honour and protection.

And Allah subhan wa teala is The Giver of the best gudiance for all mankind.SubhanAllah wa bi hamdihi WAllahu Akbar

i always ask these questions if anybody (including my nafs) ask the proof for Islam as truth.

1. from where did scientific knowledge came in Quran?
2. how come no one was able to write in the same beautiful style as Quran even though in those times, the people were at the peak in arabic?
3. how prophet was able to perform miracles?
4. how did he know that such things will happen which happened after him and are happening nowadays?
5.why so far no one is able to find any error in Quran?

1st of All ...you should know The True Religion of God is islam

Islam means submitting to Allaah, worshipping Him alone and obeying Him, and shunning shirk (polytheism, associating others with Allaah) and those who believe in that. This is the religion which Allaah approves for His slaves. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Truly, the religion with Allaah is Islam”

[Aal- ‘Imraan 3:19]

“And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers”

[Aal ‘Imraan 3:85]

The person who enters this religion is called a Muslim (one who submits), because he has submitted (aslama) to all the rulings that have come from Allaah and from the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And who turns away from the religion of Ibraaheem (Abraham) (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) except him who befools himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.

When his Lord said to him, ‘Submit (i.e. be a Muslim)!’ He said, ‘I have submitted myself (as a Muslim) to the Lord of the ‘Aalameen (mankind, jinn and all that exists).’” [al-Baqarah 2:130-131]

“Yes, but whoever submits his face (himself) to Allaah (i.e. follows Allaah’s religion of Islamic Monotheism) and he is a Muhsin ( a doer of good who does good deeds solely for the sake of Allaah) then his reward is with his Lord (Allaah), on such shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve”

[al-Baqarah 2:112].
