I am an american and I am an atheist, BUT and I have joined here to learn a little bit more about Islam, The religion of peace. Please bear with me if during my posts I come across as agnostic or skeptical, but I honestly am trying to learn about Islam after a close friend of mine introduced me to it. I hope this website helps me in my quest to get some answers to my questions and more importantly, Truth.

Salman(a companion of the Prophet Mohammed ) is famous for searching for the truth although he did not know what or where it is. You might be able to read about how Salman endured searching for the truth on this site. He was called Salman Al Farisi because he hailed from Persia(Iran). I was so in awe after reading about Salman that I named my youngest son Salman after Salman Al Farisi.

I cannot tell you how pleased i am to see you. I feel overjoyed when i see a non-Muslim knocking on the door of Islam. My intensions are not to convert you but to share free knowledge. Life is about brotherhood we should try to help each other out. Its about being compassionate.
