HIJAB BEHIND THE EARS

IS IT OKAY TO WAER THE HIJAB BEHIND YOUR EARS?????

As-salaamu `alaykum.

That would clearly contradict the command in the Qur'aan in Surah An-Noor where Allaah commands the believing women to draw their veils all over their Juyub, i.e. to cover their hair, head, ears, neck and chest... Such a "hijaab" (wherein one leaves the ears exposed) is not permissible, and shouldn't be called a hijaab since it exposes that which the hijaab is supposed to cover.

I have seen this done alot but hijab should not be worn that way. It says you can leave the face uncovered. But the ears are covered. Also ears is part of a women's awrah and some woman wear earrings and put the hijab behind the ears to show their adornment.
