Homosexuality and Adultery and or People who Steal do all these people get death or get their hand cut off under the Sharia what if they repent and never do it again would it be moral for these kinds of people to just commit suicide since they would die anyway Im not any of these things by the way Im just wondering ?

to Allah we belong

they can repent..and if they repent seriously, Allah will forgive them.

but if their case becomes public and comes to the govt under sharia law...they have to be punished so that others dont do same and peace is maintained in society.

I'm wondering about a matter of the Shari'a Islamiya:is it valid only for muslims,or does it involve everybody?In Islam homosexuality is a big sin such as fornication,but for many non-muslims is pretty normal thing.so,must the non- muslim be punished by the Sharia,or must he be judged differently?

About the fact that sinners like adulterers,robbers and homosexuals,I suppose that they should be punished immediately,because,as an italian sentence says "il lupo perde il pelo ma non il vizio",that's to say that if the sinner commits a sin the first time,he's tempted to do it secondly and more times,because he hasn't been punished.the Shariya is a deterrent for the people who disobey and want to do what is forbidden by Allah.what can I say,my thought is little thing.

It's impossible to get caught.

You need;

- 4 upright MUSLIM witnesses

In the first 1000 years of Islam, only 3 people were persecuted, and they were all self confessions.

In other words, if you do the act, then repent and don't tell anyone about it. That's as simple as it is.

:salam2: sister Hayat,

As a rule, the criminal law is always same for all citizens of a state. That means, those punishments are required to be implemented on muslims and non muslims alike. It has been, however, a tradition in muslim countries to give freedom to minorities in the matters of personal law (concerning marriage, divorce, inheritance etc.)
