Give Salâm if a tree/wall comes between you!

Shaykh 'Abdur-Razzaq al-Badr (teacher at the Islamic University of Madînah & the Prophet's Mosque) explains the hadeeth and tells how he heard of it for the first time, when he was young, from the words of the great scholar shaykh al-Albânî!

    THE HADEETH:

It is reported by Abu Hurayrah, that he heard him (i.e. the prophet) say: "Whoever meets his brother, let him greet him with the Salâm. If a tree or a wall comes between them, then he meets him again, let him greet with him the Salâm."

    (Narrated by al-Bukhârî in "al-Adab al-mufrad" 1010)
