Its very easy to make it ,very very easy ...
Every computer has a windows movie maker program ,just go to your programs on the comp and u will see it ,then open .All u have to do just import pictures as background from your comp or import the video ,then in tools u will add titles and credits ,there u will also find effects and transitions ,then also u can iport nasheed as background,u just drag it all to timeline below ..Then when video is done u just save it as wmv file and can upload on youtube or google

A free way is to use the software called movie maker, it comes free with Windows, look for it on your pc you should have it.
Once you've opened it, import all the files you want to use and then drag them onto the timeline which is on the bottom, it's very simple and easy to use, you just have to play around with it for a while to get the best out of it.
Tip: Make a folder somewhere like on the desktop and in there put all the files you want to use such pics/videos/mp3 etc, this makes it easier for you when you import them.

The choice of the software depends on what do you want exactly to do.
Windows Movie Maker is a very good one but there is also many others with specific features and free !!!

If you want to convert from flv (typicaly from youtube) to wmv you may use SUPER © v2008.build.30.
The easiest way, however is to submit your file to ZAMZAR.COM and pick the desired extention (it supports almost all extention and format). This solution have the advantage that you don't have to download any software.

I think you misunderstood me, you said "FREE" software, most if not all of them are expensive proffesional software which offer TRIALS. Some trials have limited functionality, some have a time limit and some have a watermark. The whole point of trials is buy them if you like them.
I know there are ways to illegally to obtain them, it would take me two minutes to get them, but as I am making Islamic videos I fear my good deed may not be accepted if I use pirated software, Allah knows best.
The best FREE ones that I know of are Windows Movie Maker and Photostory3. These are legally yours to keep forever with no limitations.
