How do you perform Ghusl ?

I did find some websites that tells you how to do it, but each is telling me something different and they all sound so confusing. So please can you tell me in your own words how do you perform Ghusl ?

Just take a shower. Start with the intention of making ghusl. Wash your hands, privates, and then everything else. Wash out your mouth and nostrils. Every part should be wet and cleaned. Especially be certain that the skin under the hair is thoroughly wet.

1. intention
2. wash ur mouth and nose
3. wash complete body

so its a shower with a intention basically

I follow Kitab-ut-tahaarah, which is 'the book of purity'.

The steps I follow are:

Wash the hands and private parts (privates with left hand only)
Perform full wudhu.
Cover the entire body with water
Pour water over the head 3 times
Pour water of my right shoulder 3 times
Pour water over my left shoulder 3 times
Wash my feet
End

I do believe this entails some sunnah, and not fard requirements though Allah knows best
