I think more than one because my imam did read diff version during one of the fajr solat. I've a question in relation of this, brother Sazk and brother BoMeshary. In your country, do you say this dua in your fajr prayers? Because some are saying this is bid'ah.

i was taught another dua qunoot that goes Allahumma inna nasta-ee-nuka ... and so on.
Although this is not in hisnul-muslim but from the arabic i know, its still asking Allah for help and forgiveness, and so on.
why are there more than one version of dua qunoot? and what is the correct way of prayiing witr?

Here in KSA, they don't make qunut in Fajr Prayers. They make du'a when necessary - i.e. when Israel Bombarded Gaza, and they make du'a in Eisha and Fajr Prayers. Number of Du'a in Qunut has no limit - Praise Allah and then make Du'a as long as you want. However, if you are leading the Prayer (Imaam) you should consider your Ma'moum. and Alllah knows best.

I have a book which had a whole chapter on Dua Qunoot. It said that apparently, the different "madhab" follow different qunoot. And there were three listed in all, but almost the meanings for all were the same. I was always taught the "allahumma inni nastaeenuka..." one, but there are others. too.
Which one did the sahaba read, I wonder. I want to say just that, and not follow according to any "madhab"

Dou'a al Qunoot is used only for some reason

im only asking bro/sis according to my knowledge Dou'a al Qunnot is used im some cases where there are disaster ,or some sort of massacre where a huge/big problem occured .And to the point it is used at the end of every prayer.am i right or not plz if not explain to me ,and jazakom allah khir..
