How to be sincere:

al-Fātihah1

1. In the name of Allah :God, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
2. [All] praise is [due] to Allah:God, Lord of the worlds –
3. The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
4. Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
5. It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
6. Guide us to the straight path –
7. The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.

Be sincere:

165. And [yet], among the people are those who take other than God as equals [to Him]. They love them as they [should] love God. But those who believe are stronger in love for God. And if only they who have wronged would consider [that] when they see the punishment, [they will be certain] that all power be- longs to God and that God is severe in punishment.
166. [And they should consider that] when those who have been followed disasso- ciate themselves from those who fol- lowed [them], and they [all] see the pu- nishment, and cut off from them are the ties [of relationship],
167. Those who followed will say, “If only we had another turn [at worldly life] so we could disassociate ourselves from them as they have disassociated them- selves from us.” Thus will God show them their deeds as regrets upon them. And they are never to emerge from the Fire.

Sincerity indeeds and intentions:

133. Or were you witnesses when death ap- proached Jacob, when he said to his sons, “What will you worship after me?” They said, “We will worship your God and the God of your fathers, Ab- raham and Ishmael and Isaac - one we are sincere [in deed and intention] to Him.”

Reading and understanding Quran teaches people how to be sincere to their one true creator :Allah subhanahu wa taaala.

If we ponder in those verse we find out that it calls hearts of people to be directed sincerely to Allah : subhanahu wa taaala the creator, the originator, the giver......the most loving the most merciful. In that is a true joy and happiness for hearts. Sincerity is a great value.

The following verses tells about a sincere youth who knew their Lord:

13. It is We who relate to you, [O Mu- hammad], their story in truth. Indeed, they were youths who believed in their Lord, and We increased them in guid- ance.
14. And We bound [i.e., made firm] their hearts when they stood up and said, “Our Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth. Never will we invoke be- sides Him any deity. We would have certainly spoken, then, an excessive transgression.
15. These, our people, have taken besides Him deities. Why do they not bring for [worship of] them a clear authority? And who is more unjust than one who invents about God a lie?”

Surah AlKahaf
Saheeh international

(2) 2 - Verily it is We Who have revealed the Book to thee in Truth: so serve God:Allah , offering Him sincere devotion.

Surah : 39

Please think :

(4) 4 - Say: Do ye see what it is ye invoke besides God? Show me what it is they have created on earth, or have they a share in the heavens? Bring me a Book (Revealed) before this, or any remnant of knowledge (ye may have), if ye are telling the truth!

Surah 46

5 - And who is more astray than one who invokes, besides God, such as will not answer him to the Day of Judgment, and who (in fact) are unconscious of their call (to them)?

6 - And when mankind are gathered together (at the Resurrection), they will be hostile to them and reject their worship (altogether)!

(29) 29 - Say: My Lord hath commanded justice; and that ye set your whole salves (to him) at every time and place of prayer, and call upon him, making your devotion sincere as in his sight: Such as he created you in the beginning, so shall ye return

Surah :7

Sincerity is a secret between the slave and his Lord when any other creator recognize it , then it is spoiled.
