how to cope with my sister?

We can not let them assess who we are. When you get to be as old as me..you understand what is really important. Yes, it hurts when those who are supposed to love us unconditionally act like total jerks. I learned to walk away. I walked towards those who Love Allah.

Unless its our parents. We cannot walk away from our parents, regardless of whether they minimize us or put us down, or do something that is displeasing to Allah (unless they ask US to disobey Allah). We must simply put up with them, even if one or both parents don't support us or don't speak kindly to us.

We have to treat them with mercy. But that does not mean that we allow them to make decisions for us when we are adult and responsible. I am grown and you may not agree with me; that does not take away our love.


The bottom line is I am the one that is going to stand before Allah on Judgement Day. Mommy and daddy will not be holding my little old hand.
