Sometimes there are things that we do to follow Sunnah, you know, like things that may seem to be so little but still we try to do them. Maybe even wearing your right shoes first, not drinking water standing oorr making doa ans rubbing hands to our body... you know what i mean ?

so we try to do these and more inshallah, BUT sometimes some Muslims or non Muslims, might ask us, why we did so and so. And maybe our answer will make them dislike our religion because of these. I mean, lets say, a Muslim who doesnt know much about hadithes asked about beard, and that brother said ''its haram to shave, i shouldnt shave, Our Prophet said so !!!'', then the other Muslim might dislike Islam or our Prophet just because he thinks this doesnt make sense to him (of course for us, we shouldnt seek for logic, but some people do).

I can give more examples but Do you know what i mean ?

In these cases, how should we interact with people ? maybe not in ''fards'' but lets say in nafeel acts. If we think that those people seeing us doing some certain nafeel acts, will make them think Islam is weird, then is it better to leave that action in presence of such people ? Or should we not care about anyone and lose reward for doing those acts ?

:salam2: Dear brother,
:) First of all i want to tell you that we all have a fitra to believe in One God and that sometimes we just need how to take out that fitra and express it(fitra= natural disposition in islam).
Allah swt says in theThe Glorious Quran:

“Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious:” (Quran 16:125)

So we have to talk to disbilievers in the ''most gracious'' regarding Dawah, this means that we have inch'Allah to make their fitra come out slowly and sweetly.
I'll give you an example if rain drops on a land plants will come out beutifully because the drops of water comes down one by one , slowly and gently. BUT imagine, if the water of the sky came all in one shot the earth would split and the plants would be desteoyed. IN THE SAME WAY we must make the disbiliever know the religion in the ebst of ways soo for example instead of telling them ALL the fatwas os Islam in one .shot(AND THEY ARE ALOT BROTHER!) we should make them feel what Islam is first.
Allah swt did the same in the time of Prophet Muhammad(saws) for example when people used to drink alcohol, in the beginning people were ''allowed'' to drink alchohol even tho theyw ere believers but not during prayer BUT slowly Allah (swt) made their hearts attached to Allah(swt) and to Jannah and grant them Taqwa and THEN after he ''slowly showered Fatwa and Reveelation'' Allah(swt) made Alcohol completely Haram! :)
So when we talk to the disbiliever and muslims also about Islam we must talk to them about the things that would attach them to the deen first and then explain them the other fatwas that are the background of our blessed Deen , Islam! :)

i hope i helped a little but and may Allahs wt increase our knowledge and our love for Him (swt) for verily there is no God but Allah al-'Alim al-Wadud :)
:salam2: Dear brother -Peace
