How to delete a thread

Sometimes when I post a new thread, it accidentally creates two threads. Isn't there any way I can delete the duplicate thread before people get confused and start posting to them both??

Yep you can do that - and if you'd like to make the erasing process quicker, just send a PM to an active Mod inshaAllah and they'll be able to delete that completely for you.

Moderators usually come by and delete repetitive threads - erasing the one with less views/replies or merging them together, but they may go missed, so in those cases feel free to PM and have it erased.

However currently there is no way for a user themselves to delete their own thread, as it is felt this would cause problems within the system.
