How To Hate Shirk

Assalamu alaikum,

I know shirk is the worst sin, but I want to really really really hate it. Have you any ideas of how to hate it more, anything from the Quran and Sunnah?

I just want to despise it completely and utterly. I want to be disgusted by it and avoid myself and keep everyone away from it. I want to just want to detest it so much I just.... I can't explain, I want to hate it more and love tawheed more.

Any ideas?

I just want to be repulsed by shirk.
