How to have true Taqwa ? Please Advice

Assalam alakum


Do you know how to have true taqwa which will make you steadfest on deen ? Like you know, sometimes we just do bad things because we cant show patience, then we make tawba and decide to be a good Muslim, but after a while we again may do same thing, maybe even after one week. Do you know what i mean ? I dont know when we are like these, if we are really sincere with Allah. Like when we wanna do something haram, we do it, then we think ''okay, i will make tawba and be good Muslim now'' but next time, we again go through same process.

SO...If you know what i mean, what would be your advices on this issue. How can we have true taqwa, staying away from all haram and being steadfest on doing the good things for sake of Allah ?

Brother,

Just think that you will be standing before Allah on the Day of Judgement; and at present He is the Seer and Hearer of all that transpires.
We think we can get away with it; the only ones we fool our ourselves. He Sees; He Knows; and He is Present at all times.

We all sin; that is our nature. Just don't fool yourself and it makes the heart grow tender for the love of Allah.
