how to prevent ourself from shaytan

wat r d best ways to prevent ourselves
normally we wont be under his custody but in some situations unknowingly he let us to get angry,shout at others etc etc he'l make us to like these sins how to prevent this?????????

first of all, knowing your enemy helps a lot. What is the motive of Shaydan and why is he doing what he is doing? He wants to take you to hell, why because Allah told him to make sujuud on adam (as) and he rejected. By knowing this and keeping in your heart, we can always remind ourselves that every evil acting we intend to do is from shaydan, he whispers you.

for me, ( i don't know if this works for everyone), once i have watched a series called "Shaydan" in youtube and they helped me a lot, because now i know every bad thing i think of is because shaydaan is whispering to me, or maybe when i try to delay the prayer, its shaydaan.
