And how to make istighfar ? Do I say a dua or :astag:

:salam2:

making istighfar is simple really...like I said you either hold prayer beads and repeat *astaghfiruallah*...or...*asthaghfiruallah al 'atheem*...or...*astaghfiruallah wa 'atubu ilayh*...however many times you wish...or you can do it on your fingers...for its benefit like I mentioned to you earlier...

another thing I forgot to tell you about...and this you can do at any time...but I think it would be nice to do it at the time after Qiyam Prayer is to make Salawat upon the Prophet (pbuh)...just say *Allahoma salli wa sallem ala sayidina mohammad*...repeatedly...again on prayer beads...or on your fingers...

I read a hadith in which the prophet (pbuh) has said...*if one of you sent Salawat upon me 100 times a day...Allah accomplishes/grants him 30 matters which he seeks in this dunya...and leaves 70 matters for his akhirah*...(that's how I remember it)

and if you want to make dua'a for anything...the best times are:

1. after saying *samea'a allaho liman hamida* when you stand up from ruku'u

2. during sojood

3. immediately after the last tashah'hud...before you say your salams to conclude the prayer

there are many many more...but these are the best times "during" prayers

Inshallah I have benefited you...and again if you have any questions please let me know...

aslam o alikum,
I start with the name of Allah most graceful and merciful
I have to admit I am a student and I tend to study late night which prevents me from waking up iin time to even pray for Fajr hopefully Allah (swt) will give me enough power to wake up for fajr, but to answer your question I did this last time, i prayed isha around 11, left witr (3 witr) out and studied school work for a couple of hours had a coffee and prayed nafil and other stuff till fajr , i prayed fajr then and went to sleep

I agree it was really hard to stay awake till 5 something, i fell asleep for couple of min during making dua 8 times lol so i had to make wuddu alot of times with refreshed me thou, but after that prayers I felt so good like i cannot explain i felt so neat and clean and great.
Disclaimer for my own consciousness:
"please know i didn't write this down for show off or anything my intentions r to inform a fellow muslim what i did"

may Allah (swt) accept all of our prayers and provide us with oppurtunities of hasanat all the time

some people may find the difference.

Qiyam-al-layl means night prayer. U may pray at night after isha also.

But some refer tahajjud, which people pray after sleeping at night and wake up again at last part of night before fajr.
