i almost got drunk tonight. please read

jazakAllah for all of your kind words. i think if i would've went out drinking, i would've began to throw jannah away. i am very happy that i have all of you here at TTI. today i spent practically all day thinking about jannah. i was comforted by reading several ayats of the quran that basically said if we have perseverance and patience and obedience to Allah SWT, we will inherit the jannah. we have to protect our jannah as if we were protecting one of our children. we can't let the haram come into the home and steal jannah away from us.

I no how u feel!! I almost got drunk once not long ago because i felt so depressed and lonely because i felt i had no one to help me. I though getting drunk like i use to befor i became A muslim Alhamadulilah would wash away my problems but then i stopped and thought that getting drunk would only create another problem on my list because i would have commited a sin.

It is really good that you decided against the drinking and inshallah you will keep up the good work. Its sound like u are doing great! Masha allah
