alhumdulillah, if I deceived you with the title and you became upset please forgive me.
all the drugs I take are prescribed :salam2:by very good muslim doctors in the USA.
I used to be a anti drug person, to a point that even in extreme pain I wouldn't take medicine for it. Like having migrane headache I would just go on with the pain. Just felt since I have an addictive personality I would get to caught up. my personality is so addictive I just can't stop eating chocolate (often but not every day)

alhumdulillah, earlier this year I changed doctors to a muslim doctor with Syria origin. He mashAllah is very caring. I complained to him that I keep getting fluid in my ear and he prescribed for medication to take through my nose. At first I was like this is not going to work. with Allah's mercy it made me feel so much better. now I think all these years of suffering with this problem, what a relief.
This definitely happened, because Allah willed it to be and in my prayers I would seek shifaa from alshaafee.
if there is any reminder that we need from this, is that Allah answers the prayers. we just need to be patient. And there is no illness on this earth without a cure. The fact that I have meet and been able to afford a doctor (with insurance of coarse) is blessing from Allah. the fact that the doctor is intelligent because of Allah mercy on him thus diagnosing my problem with that knowledge is a blessing from Allah.
