I was about to sell Islam

From few years an Imam moved to one of the mosques in London city in

England, and he used to take a bus from his house to downtown. After few

weeks, and during taking buses he used to take the same bus with the same

driver.

One day he paid the bus ticket and sat down then he discovered that the

driver gave him 20 cents more than he must take.

The Imam thought that he must return the money back because it is not his

right to take it. Then he thought:” forget about it, its nothing … no one

would care for 20 cents and the bus company earns much money from the

buses and these 20 cents won’t differ so I’ll take the money and accept it as

a gift from Allah and keep silent”


The bus stopped at the station that the Imam wants but before he leaves he

returned the 20 cents to the driver and said: take this you gave it to me more than what I should take.


The driver took it and smiled and asked the Imam:” aren’t you the new Imam

of the mosque. I have been thinking for a long time to come to the mosque

to know more about Islam and I intended to give you these extra money to

see what would you do”


When the Imam took off the bus he felt pain in his legs from the situation. He

held to the nearest baluster to lean on it and looked at the sky and said

crying: Ohh Allah I was going to sell Islam for 20 cents!!!!!!!!

Brothers and sisters please remember we never

see what reactions of others to what we do

Sometimes we are the only thing that represent Islam for others

That is why we must be the good example and symbol for others

and remember that Islam faith was spreading in Asia and Africa

by honest Muslim traders and keep in mind that Islam is the treatment.

but this story is repeated every day

I remember that my friend called Mohammad riding a taxi of a Christian driver

and the same scene was filmed again but my friend toke not 20 cent

but 5 pounds and neither he nor the driver notice that

and mohmmad till now don`t know how to return the money back or what to

do with it and what will the driver say about Muslims



again with the same scenario but it was a Muslim brother who used to speak

loudly or who used to hurting neighbors or drive his car with ugly manner

or who used to lie and cheat.


and we always say the reminding is so useful for pious people indeed
