Assalam alakum

Now i will write a short scenerio and would like to ask you, what would you do ? Especially maybe from your experiences you could answer


You meet with a girl/boy and her/his family who you might like to marry with.Now you met them because maybe you may have engagement inshallah. But its happening in another country. And you will turn back just a few days later to your home inshallah. You feel like you you dont wanna go back because maybe you could spend more time with him/her and family if you stayed longer. But you also dont know if its good or not. Because you know, you will have to leave sooner or later and you dont know if it will affect your emotions in a better way or not

What would you do in this situation ?

It is tricky to answer as the scenario I imagine for myself might be based on my own experience, and a little different from yours. It depends in some way on what is easy. If easy to stay a few days more, then I might do that as it may help things become clearer. If it is difficult to change travel plans, I would return home to reflect on things. Often things look different when back in your home with familiar people and things around - from that distance (and after some days) you may see better if it was good or not.

You asked what I would do, this was just my opinion. I hope it helps, and may Allah swt guide you to his straight path.
