What a joke,
just before few days we had dozen of posts how Muslim countries are corrupeted and advantages of living in Western Europe and America
Not to try to change the subject---but:
A lot of what people see and hear on the foreign news channels about how rich Americans are is lots of times propaganda.
You go to states like Alabama, Misssissippi, Louisiana, North Carolina, West Virginia, ect. and you'll see people living in shacks like people in poorer parts of Africa and South America.
Where I live in Texas it isn't too bad. We had the oil boom that led to this state being developed along better lines than some of the other places. Now, in 20 years it may be a lot different because the region is getting poorer and not better off.
Keep in mind that Americans also have incurred a lot of debt. They are indebt for just about everything they have. Also, a good proportion of the population is on the government welfare rolls. This has staved off a lot of problems with hunger and homelessness we no doubt would otherwise have.
We also have more people in prison as a percentage of the population than any other industrialized nation.
