This Zaytuna Institute teaches sufism , this is against islamic teaching ..


the type of wrong ways of worshiping to allah is the following

1. Sufism

2. shia

3. Ahmediya


these three are one of the major divisions that has divided Muslim UMAH into picies , due to the fact that they dont follow quran and haddeth properly .. any more questoons you have then please feel free to queston on this thread


If you want to follow islam properly then recite quran in arabic. If it is difficult for the reverts to pick arabic now then look for as many translations as you can in your desired language and raise questions on this site to get some help ..

other than that look into haddeth for conformation on quranic verses and top haddets are sahi muslim and sahi bukhari.




Sufism = Zaytuna Institute OWNED BY HAMZA YOUSUF HANSON is teaching sufism which is wrong way and t rejects some verses from quran and sufism is more cult way to practice islam it is not what Prophet Muhammed Thought US . BEWARE of THIS PRACTICE :astag:


shia = these peaople believe that Ali is better than Prophet muhammed (Peace be upon him) and they ask Ali no ALLAH and furthermore they practise some cult on Muharram (PLEASE BE CAUTitios of this group) :astag:



Ahmediya = These peaople believe that Prophet ISA (JESUS) will not return in the end times and there will be no mahdi comming fo unite muslims. They believe in gulam murtaza to be the last prophet and not Prophet muhammed (SAWS) which is one of the 5 pillars of islam Infact in PAKISTAN they are declared NON-Muslims. :astag:

I told two friends of mine that hamza yusuf teaches sufism but i was not sure. what is the evidence that hamza yusuf teaches sufism and what is sufism?

please let us to learn a lot about hadith and sunnah.

now a days we are searching a lot of thins about the bad sects.

its not bad.

if we have the truth infront our eyes, then its will be much easier for us to save us from this false groups.

i think we should not advertise about these kind of false groups in this nice web site.
because there are a lot of non-muslim or new new muslim brother who come to learn about the beauty of islam. sooo let us inform a lot of verse and hadith to mark the beautiness of islam.

i hope you guess understand what have tried to explain.

Br. Salam Sufism is not good in many ways like for Example You cant shake your head and call allah , allah like rock Stars or something . they dont just say in dzikir like subanallah allhuakbar alhamdulila Instead they believe to just say Allah , allah , allah hu huuuuuu . and this is not how you do Dzikirr we had some tablikh came over which practised sufism in our mosque they were then banned to come to this mosque cause they dint do that in very public but was caught one day.

Turn To Islam
Brothers and sisters, Islam is simple, so let's keep it simple for the reverts Inshallah.

The only thing we should always remember to follow is the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH).

Just stick with this and do not get mislead into anything else, Inshallah we will all be of the successful ones Ameen.

there is no need for this sort of thread or discussion here.

It is true that we must be weary and not seek any knowledge from people who are Sufis.

The Zaytuna institute and others linked to it are Ashari Sufis.

They commit Shirk (associating partners with Allah), by makind dua to their Saints and to the dead Pious predecessors. Only Allah can hear our Dua' and help us. They make various excuses, lies and distortions to stick to these incorrect beliefs.

Sufis also believe in various incorrect beliefs such as Wahdatul Wujood, this is belief of Harun Yahya, another Sufi and Modernist. The Essence of this belief is what the disbeliever Ibn Arabi would preach, that Allah is part of his creation and his creation part of Allah.

And of course, they follow various supersticions and fabricated Hadith, which make them away from the straight path, and lead them to innovating in our beautiful and perfect Deen.

We follow the Right way by sticking to the Quran and the Authentic Sunnah and we get our understanding from the Early Generation of Muslims who were upon the truth.
