selaminalleykum brothers and sisters
i have a serious problem my best friend is a christian and her real mom is a muslim but astaghfirullah she says islam is a stupid religion and because she didnt want her daughter to be a muslim she geve her own daugthter when she was a baby. and now the girl is a total christian please dont take that the wrong way i mean she has done everything and i mean everything(the worst thing you can think of) what should i do i dont think shes interested in being a muslim but she says when she turns 18 she might think about it but for now she wants to stay a christian.

I think all you can do is to advise your friend with wisdom and good preaching.

Try your best to show her the merits of Islam practically in your own conduct.

If you find good response, then you go on with her asking Allah to guide and save her.

This needs you to be strong and firm in your faith and your morals lest you might get influenced by her way of life.

May Allah guide her heart and make her clear-sighted.

sister, what you can do for her are:
1. Make du'a (pray) for her that Allah may give hidayah (guidance) to Islam, do it continuosly after your prayers (salat).

2. Tell her the truth of Islam (the Oneness of God, the scientific miracles of Al-Qur'an, the truth prophethood of Muhammad salallahu alaihi wassalam, etc.-you can search this information on the web like www.islamreligion.com)

3. You can give her the Islamic books, make her study it with fair view, and not to study Islam from the media, and don't understand Islam from a few Muslims who don't practice it.

May Allah make things easier for you and may Allah guide your friend to the straight path..Amin
