Assalamualaikum,
I'm a nurse working in a specialized ward whereby I nurse HIV patients.. The red ribbon you're buying will help those affected especially to buy ART medicines.. This medicines will boost their immunity system, thus preventing them to fall ill as they're prone to get many kinds of infections.. In a way, prolonging their life & having better life quality.. If they were to fall ill, they cannot go out to work & support themselves & their families..
Your kind intention really helps a lot & brings hope to those affected ones.. I don't see a reason being a Muslim, one is to be restricted to offer help to certain ppl based on certain criterias.. Regardless of race, language or religion, we should help one & another.. What matters most, is we are sincere in whatever we are doing..
