asalamu alaykum to all my brothers and sisters in islam my name is Aichabella and i am a born muslim from west africa (guinee) leaving in NYC with my husband and two sons. word can't explain how happy i am to join this wonderful site and all the great things it has to offer.u see, even though i'm a born muslim ,two month ago i use to pray and fast but i was not wearing hijab,now that ALLAH(swt) has turn my life around i feel like i have been given a second chance i came to realise thet hijab is an oblication by ALLAH(swt) to all muslim women so i have been proudly wearing my hijab for the past two month and will be wearing it for the reste of my life incha ALLAH. the best part is, not only ALLAH is pleased with me, my husband is loving it too and that makes me the happies woman on earth. so for all those sisters that are having problems with this may ALLAH help u in doing it u will be happier. i feel likethis site is a place where i can connect with muslim around the wrold. please brothers and sisters i invite u all to be my friends for the sake of ALLAH :tti_sister::tti_sister:

:salam2: WELCOME TO TTI from Paris I did live in NYC from 1995 to 1998 and have fond memories of Astoria Queens and Manhattan

I am sure that you will make lots of friends here for the sake of Allah We are one big happy global family, :ma: I learn something new here every day and there are some very knowledgeable sisters and brothers on TTI, Alhamdulillah.

My son (6) is in an international class here in public school and the only other student in his class (as she too does not speak much French) is a young girl from Guinea Her name is Marie (10) and she is a very polite young girl.
