We sent aforetime our messengers with Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice; and We sent down Iron, in which is (material for) mighty war, as well as many benefits for mankind, that Allah may test who it is that will help, Unseen, Him and His messengers: For Allah is Full of Strength, Exalted in Might (and able to enforce His Will). About the Documentary: Miracle Planet

Miracle Planet is a five-part documentary series, co-produced by Japan's NHK and the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), narrated by Christopher Plummer, which tells the 4 billion year old story of how life has evolved from its humble beginnings to the diversity of living creatures today.

Filmed around the world and based upon the most recent scientific findings, Miracle Planet combines location footage and interviews with leading scientists, along with computer animation, to depict the cataclysmic events that have shaped our planet and all of the life-forms within it.

The five episodes depict the evolution of life on Earth in perspective with our place in the universe - from the simplest microbes to the complexity and diversity that is found on the planet today. The entire 5-hour series Miracle Planet aired on Discovery Channel in Canada on April 22, 2005 as an Earth Day special. Music composed by Hironori Doi, orchestrated by Wataru Hokoyama.

1. The Violent Past

This episode chronicles the early stages of the earth's history, from formation to the mid-Precambrian. It discusses the beginning of life on earth, mentioning panspermia as a possible candidate. It then simulates a collision with an asteroid 500km wide, similar to those that formed the protoplanets

Interesting explanation that I read some time back and don't remember now:

Iron-56 Iron has an atomic number 26.

The chapter number is 57 and verses number is 25.

The reason for the difference of one between the chapter number and the atmoic number and verses number was explained or you can say the article tried to reconciled the two.

It was interesting observation, maybe its true, maybe its not. And Allah knows best!

Let me find the article!

don't bother with those numerology explanations, they have been referred to as a hoax or meaningless recently by some of the learned speakers of Islam. And I never hear of any known scholars mentioning this type of information about number comparisons.

Personally I dont believe that either, if I had, I would have kept it for future reference, I was just curious to check what their argument was as I don't remeber it, but I guess its better not to bother with it any more.
