IS IT POSSIBLE?

I saw a documentary about the nowday's life in Bosnia and I knew that it has a majority of muslim people.the thing I never saw i my life is that in bosnia many muslim hijabed women use to smoke cigarette!!is it possible?I was surprised because I never agreed with this habitude,but on the other side,why should I judge a woman who smokes,if ther are many musli men who do this?have you ever seen a muslim woman smoking?

i have seen too many.
a woman being Muslim doesn't mean that she would by default be good, there are good and bad Muslim women everywhere. i have seen many good and pious Muslim women as well.

Yes, Sister, it is possible for such things to happen. The first time I ever encountered such situation, well, I was quite shocked and maybe feel a bit disgusted by it.

One thing though, it just clearly shows that women who smokes doesnt care much about her health. Scientific researches have proven that it can bring bad effects to the woman (and of course to men too) especially if the woman happens to be pregnant and still smoking!

I do feel sorry when I see such people. It happens in my country too sis, a "Muslim" country.

Bosnian woman have been through much pain. Dont you know during the war countless woman were raped and their children forced to be Christians?


Anyway....in London 116-17 year old girls smoke too. Its all for show, who`s more "fly" than the other.

Sometimes people need coping items. Smoking is almost a medicine to some people..and they couple it with coffee. It has almost an anti-depressant effect.
Leave it be. We have our own issues to deal with.

I was so disappointed by watching at those women.None is perfect,but how can a muslim damage his/her health with the smoke of cigarette?I felt ashamed,cause for the first time in my life I had to return to my steps and confirm that none is perfect:nor even a muslim hijabed woman is an angel...

Sister...please..has it occured to you that they may have personal reasons for their behaviors. Do not judge least ye be judged. Let me give you an example: a woman supports her family..she is abused by her husband...she is ashamed to open up to anyone..she has her pride all be it bruised..if it takes a simple cigarette to help her gain strenght...some people go to doctors and get pills to cope. Let it be between she and Allah.

Let us pray that Allah subhana talla gives us compassion. On the day of Judgement I pray Allah subhana talla has compassion on me.
