well Abdul Rehman Green is hundred percent right...

Pakistan is a Islamic county only by name, in fact there is no true Islamic country in the whole world. give me an example of a ruler like hazrat Umer (R.A), no one.

i must say we r not Islamic country,we don't follow Islamic sharia law , then how could we be Islamic country.there are many pitfalls but green only mentioned some of them.

may Allah guide us all to the right path.

Sis first of all it really feels like an insult as u say it in the topic "Is Pak a muslim country" u say it as if Pak is not a muslim country at all. Yeah i agree that not everyone here is a good muslim but then hey we all try to be... And we cant just judge a person by looking at them. And not everyone is away from islam here. Alhamdulilah.
I think instead of wasting our time on sayin which country or person is muslim or non muslim we shud first take a glance at our selves no offense to anyone.
But hearing people talk about pakistan this way makes me just wanna yell! lolz.

What is frustrating is the conflation of a political system gone awry with the faith of a people who dedicated their lives to build a country. We can not judge what is in an individual's heart. That belongs only to Allah subhana talla. My parents and their peers gave up everything to make the land Muslim. It is annoying to have judgments thrown on an entire population.
Islam has many facets. InshaAllah, Islam will prevail. Pointing fingers at how people practice their faith is a dangerous path. We have to answer to Allah subhana talla. And we being human are far from perfect.

Mostly kind peple, everyone is interwined like a giant family- they help eachother out- it's beautiful, the houses, the animals, the scents in the air, the hotish\warm climate, the blue sky, the delicious fruit- so soft and sweet- the best ever!!! The cats, the farms, the smiles you get back, the places where you go to get the clothes you designed made, the homey feeling, the home-made stews, the fresh meat, the warm sun, small tv's , constant spinning fans, the shade, the old-fashiioned things- I'd love to be there now. I miss it there


People who call it a "terrorist country" have never actually been in it, or have ever experianced any of that- they're blind to the beauty- and bland and lazy.

It's boring and bland here compared to there:lol:

sisters and brothers not to offend about by the way m also a Pakistani and living in Pakistan ,,, and sister fatima the gay you are point at respected brother in Islam green is very knowledgeable person.. if we say that no one can look into our hearts then we have also no right to be critical upon others...another thing is that we as nation are very egoistic and this ego has pulled us to this stage . and its the time i believe we have to look into our selves.. the best thing in a person or a nation is to re-look and correct the wrong deeds, that is how a person or a nation grow so dont take it on heart
