The Israeli-Palestinian Peace Talks

There will be a peace agreement in Bayt al-Maqdis.
(Risalat al-Khuruj al-Mahdi, vol. 3, p. 184)

Bayt al-Maqdis is the name of Masjid al-Aqsa. This hadith may well indicate that an agreement will be reached in Jerusalem. For the last 50 years, Palestine has been consumed by fighting and tension. An important step toward bringing peace and security to this region was taken during the 1993 peace negotiations in Oslo. No matter how unjust some of the decisions were, and although some could not be fully implemented, the fact that the two sides did reach agreement on specific issues was an important development. In 2003, peace negotiations between the two sides continue, particularly with the American "Road Map" initiative.

Allah knows best whether they will be any type of peace or not.
I've ever heard of this hadeeth.

My personal take on the issue is that, I don't think there will be any peace with the Israelis. All these talk of "road map to peace" is bunch of nonsense.
Give you an example. One of the guidelines of "road map to peace" is the Israelis have to stop constructing new settlements and deconstruct the old ones. They are still making new settlements into Palestinian land (whatever is left of it)
Obviously this will anger the Palestinians so if the Palestinian do something in response (u know throw a rock or whatever), they will cry "look at these terrorist they broke the peace agreement".
Also, the Zionist and the religious extremist in Israel do not want any type of peace, they are very clear about that. Those people have alot of power in Israeli politics.

Whenever there is a serious dialogue for peace (like in the 80s and 90s) the terms and conditions for the Palestinian people are so bad that any sincere leader would reject the process. This is no secret, even some Israeli leader and negotiators said "if we were Palestinians we would never accept such conditions". This ultimately leads to the collapse of the peace process, and the people who do not want peace reclaim in joy saying "look at the Palestinians, they do not want peace: they are a violent people".
