I Got this from a forwarded email. And these days, im getting many forwarded mails with very new hadiths. I just wanna know if this hadith is authentic. Never read or heard of it. There's no source mentioned at the bottom. So its hard to verify it.
Jibrayil ( Alai Salam ) once came to Prophet (S.A.W.S) and said.
Allah has given me the knowledge to count
Every leaf on earth,
Every fish in the sea,
Every star in the sky,
Every particle of sand and earth, but there's only one thing I can't
count.
Prophet (S.A.W.S) asked Jibrayil (Alia Salam)
; what is it?.
Jibrayil Alia Salam replied ......
When one of your ummah recites Durood or Salaams to you,
The blessing Allah showers upon him becomes impossible for me to count.
Subhan Allah.
Allahumma salleh 'Alaa Muhammad wa-aale Muhammad.
Please read Durood at least once now and send this to
all the Muslims you know Insha Allah you will get Thawab Jariya -
Aameen.
Although the message conveyed is very Encouraging and good, i feel if the hadith is weak or doesn't exist, then aren't we attributing a saying to the prophet which he did not utter? Isn't this a sin?
