my mom has been working in this building for 17 years as a receptionist and in christmas time the people who live there have christmas parties and she makes a dishfor them
is it haram becuase she is ding this?

Can a Muslim participate in non-muslim's religious celebrations for example Christmas, Deevali, etc.?

Kindly advise a)whether a Muslim is allowed to participate for the sake of friends in their religious events like Christmas, Deevali, etc. b)in your website, when you say 'not permissible' or 'impermissible', what does it means? does it means haraam? or its makrooh or its unadvisable? It is Haram for a Muslim to attend any non-Muslims religious event, for example, Christmas, Deevali, etc.
