Salaam,
This is the kind of post we need. Given that..as I read the responses the words organization and sturcture kept popping up.
We need no new language..we need no new organization. It is all written. We need to apply the way of the Prophet, may the peace and blessing of Allah be upon him. Our path has been created.
We can not think globally until we have started with doing good deeds ourselves. If we concentrate on our one mile and make others aware by our actions and deeds..we are getting somewhere.
I have written this before..we need action. We need to get off our tails and act. Life is by definition growth. We need to move and respond. We know things are corrupt. And why not. This is the way of the world. And we are no better.
We need to transmute our substance..we need to learn to walk on the path. In a sense sirat is a daily experience.
Why do we pay taxes that purchase the weapons that kill everyone. Why do submit to the world that is wrong. There is no other word for it. Why do we not go to Muslim doctors, lawyers, mechanics, restaurants, ad infinitum.
We are the children of arrogance and pride. We drink the milk of ill-gotten means and are drunk with self-imposed ignorance. How do we expect change when we can not even help our next door neighbor who is starving.
Forgive me brothers and sisters but we need to be active.We need to work hard at removing the desire of the duyna.
