Is this true?

I read someplace that the tombs of the family of the prophet(saaw) were destroyed by wahabis. Is this true? The person who claims this made a list of other tombs and Mosques that we're destroyed? Can anyone confirm if this is true or not?

Though I don't know about this, but all graves in Islam are supposed to be leveled with the ground - and building structures over them is not permissable. When the followers of the scholar Wahab tried to go back to the Sunnah, and tried to level the graves, people who were doing shirk over graves cried out that these people had invented something new in the religion. So the muslims who were following the sunnah started to be called Wahhabis. But they weren't doing anything wrong - they were correcting mistakes and trying to bring people back onto the proper manhaj.

I read an entire article by Br. Bilal Philips on this matter. He even had a Youtube video somewhere on this topic.
