Is working in a company that provides advertising ok?

Assalamualaikum warahatullah,

I have a job offer in the software field with a company that will sell advertising. The advertisements could be for anything. I will probably not be dealing directly with the ads themselves, but I can see that there may be some ads that are haram - music, alcohol, mortgages, etc. I don't know what percentage is halal.

What is the ruling on working for such a company?
