Salams to everyone!
well this is a bit of a dilema, so I was wondering if anyone knew the answer on here!
basically we are gonna register my son soon, and we dont know what format to put on the certificate!
his malaysian dad has the title "Syed", meaning he is a descendent of the prophet muhammad (pbuh) so my son will inherit this title. so his name on the malaysian birth certificate is Syed H... A... bin Syed A... F... get it? Lol so i am not sure what to put on the british one as technically he doesnt have a surname!
i dont really want to put
first name: Syed H... A....
surname: bin Syed A.. F.. as this is way too long in england lol! anyone come across this kind of dilema before? if so what was the solution? thanks for the help!
