islamic way of learning for kids

hope you ll all in the best state of emaan and health, m just trying to figure out what was the way of teaching small kids (in the age of play group) in slaalf saleehain,
can anyone provide me guidance? please try to be brief coz i have little time to read i want to teach my kid at home because of bad environment in the schools and want to follow the way of Islamic teaching system at home that will follow up by a Madrisa inshaAllah, and also want to know how much we can get help of modern aids in education i.e... cartoons, documentaries, and other AV aids (informative but carry lot of music ), your replies will be rewarded by Allah SWT inshaAllah
