i have heard this on the news, but what kind of ppl are israel-palestinian? is it those who were jews (who call themselves israel) and then converted to Islam? do Muslims recognize israeli-palestinians? and did this exist long before? i also saw on the news that these kind of ppl are against the war that just happened.
Salaam Aleykom brother/sister and welcome to the site first of all. The current state of Israel was created in 1948 and Jews from around the world started moving there after the holocaust. However there were about a half of million Jews living in Palestine(now Israel) even before the holocaust. There was no fighting between Muslims, Jews and Christians in Palestine prior to the creation of Israel after the holocaust in what was known as Palestine. The Palestinians were living in the land for centuries and there is even evidence that they are descendants of Bani Israel, (ancient Israelites like Jesus, and others). The fighting started only after the Palestinians who are mostly Muslims started being kicked out of their homes, and became oppressed. The state of Israel was created and the natives of the land have been living in refugee camps ever since and are told that they are Arabs and don't belong there.
However, even if the Palestinian Muslims were Arabs who settled in the land during the 7th century ce, they would still be considered indigenous because the United Nations defines indigenous people as anyone living in a land for at least 400 years. In that case, the Palestinians would be indigenous to the land and, in fact, the Jews who settled there after the holocaust would not even qualify as indigenous. But the Jews claim to be descendants of the ancient children of Israel and are the true owners of the land. The current state of Israel practices racism and is in violation of human rights even though many Jews speak out and criticize these acts. All Jews are not bad people and the Jewish people suffered a lot in Europe at the hands of Christians where they were killed for almost 1,700 years. It was Muslims who helped the persecuted Jews in Europe and Muslims have always protected them from others. However, after the holocaust which took place in Europe, the Jewish people were given the state of Israel and were encouraged to move to Palestine.
The holocaust which killed 6 million innocent Jews took place in Europe at the hands of Christians, yet innocent Palestinians have been paying the price for crimes committed by Europeans and Christians. Some of the strong supporters of this current state of Israel are the many Christian denominations, and especially those who call themselves 'born again". The violent state is also supported both financially and with weapons by casinos, the filthy *!*!*!*! industries(may Allah destroy them and curse them), and the many billion dollar corporations in the U.S and around the world.
I am not saying that all Jews are bad but definitely the Israeli government which is not truly practicing Jewish but they use the Jewish religion as a pretext just as there are some western created agents of the United States which use some so called Muslims to commit violence in the name of Islam, and then the media and others will say "see Islam is bad and these terrorists claim to be killing in the name of their religion". Both the Palestinians and Jews should be able to live there but it wrong for the Israeli government to abuse, remove and kill Palestinians who have rights to the land too. May Allah help our struggling brothers in Palestine and may He guide the good Jews to the straight path as well, amin.
