today insha allah there will be SALAT AL ISTISKAH in the whole part of morocco. we havent seen the rain yet and it s half november now. i wish this year wouldnt be as the previous ones when there is always less rain. this is a reminder for using as much water for your need. of course the less rain doesnt appear in our big cities but it appears on nature and the villegers here. lets make doua:tti_sister: for those who suffer and travel for many miles to get water to drink and use.

may a brother or sister here bring us the whole definition of SALAM AL ISTISKAH.

As Salaamu Alaykum, it is a prayer 4 rain, it is a 2 rakaat prayer that is said w/out Adhan or Iqaamah, can b made @ any time other than the forbidden times. don't take this as fatwah, but, the prayer books i have read ( the prescribed prayer made simple by Tajuddin B. Shu'aib) all have it n them as a prayer u r allowed 2 make.

‏خرج رسول الله ‏ ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ ‏إلى المصلى فاستسقى ‏ ‏وحول ‏ ‏رداءه حين استقبل القبلة
