Just when you thought it could not get any worse

Assalaam walaikum,

I do provide amusement for my neighbors. I thought I would do the same for my brothers and sisters on TTI.

I was visiting a sister for dinner. We were on her deck when my son pointed down the hill. He calmy said mommy that's our car.

My car rolled down the wet grassy hill and was stopped by a massive tree. Alhumdullila, no one was hurt. I am still in shock.

The worst part of the ordeal is I have to communicate with an ex-husband. It will cost me over $3000.00 to get fixed.

I responded to a post by stating I am one of those people if I see a drop of water in a glass I consider the glass full...now I have to live up to it.

I had a minor injury two weeks ago. I had to spend so much time at the hospital the staff has memorized my name and can spell it!!! Praise be to Allah we were not in the car otherwise I would be in the er right now.

I have to be calm. I am going to make salat and go to bed. I pray Allah subhana talla will give me a sweet dream.

This is the second time in two weeks I have provided a light show for the neighborhood. The tow truck lit the street as if a UFO had landed. They all came and watched the show.

How did it roll down the hill exactly? Like...does it use a manual break that you forgot to lift down??? Keep your hopes up dearest, I will make dua for you

It was just one of those things. I can not even attempt to explain. Oh sweetie when the tide turns and the big blessings of Ramadan start to flow I am going to have to eat onions to stop from grining.

I am so thankful to Allah that we were not hurt. I just wanted you guys to smile..that makes me feel better.

I telephoned the corporate headquaters of the car company this morning. They will respond to my case in the next two weeks. I told them there must be a faulty mechanism. I told them I was a loyal customer. I told them I wanted a shiny new red 4x4 truck!! A hijabi in a pick-up truck.

This is just the prelude to Ramadan. Oh the blessings that await Muslims..Insha'Allah.

No child..I can handle it. I refrain from anger whenever possible. I just had to laugh at the way my son so gently pointed out my car hugging a tree in the middle of nowhere.
The motor company understands the seriousness of my incident and Insha'Allah will help me. It could save lives for other car owners. It is all good.

Now young lady..part of life is learning not to be so physical. My ex is a good man. We made life decisions. I ran to Allah with my sons and he ..well he just ran.

Now little baby sis..I would look good in a new shiny candy apple red 4x4..
