Keep a Caring Attitude
The Prophet (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “The man who solaces an afflicted person shall be rewarded to the same degree as the afflicted one.” [Tirmidhi]
Islam is a community of brotherhood. Each Muslim is like my very own brother or sister. I should feel for them and share their joys and sorrows. If a calamity should befall any one in this enormous family of mine, I should be there to help however I can.
Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) in His bounty, rewards by the loadsful. Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) has kept such an enormous reward for consoling a stricken person so that we don’t shirk away from being there for each other.
