The person whose heart does not involve in salat is among the "mutakaffin" that means "among them who weights less".

All knows the warning given by Allah to those who weights less.

salat is also the one measuring. Who completes it get the return too complete.

- Salman Farsi ( radhiAllah).

On the day of Qiyamah (doomsday) the weight of good manners would be huge. the person with good manners will be in higher grades in jannah.

Mother aisha (radhiallah) narrated, Muhammad (SAW) said , the person by virtue of good manners always gets sawaab of keeping fast and performing tahajjud (salat).

(abu dawud sharif part-2 page 305)

Muhammad (SAW) said, " In jannah, the person would be most near to me who has good manners."

(tirmidhi ,part-2 page 22 )

Story of Generosity (sakhawat)

A wise woman who was traveling in the mountains found a precious stone in a stream. The next day she met another traveler who was hungry, and the wise woman opened her bag to share her food. The hungry traveler saw the precious stone and asked the woman to give it to him. She did so without hesitation.

The traveler left, rejoicing his good fortune. He knew the stone was worth enough to give him security for a lifetime. But a few days later he came back to return the stone to the wise woman. "I've been thinking," He said, "I know how valuable the stone is, but I give it back in the hope that you can give me something even more precious: Give me what you have within you that enabled you to give me the stone (Generosity)."

Learn to call on Allah,
In the dark,
While Riding on a bus,
Or sitting in a park

Learn to do it when,
Alone in a room,
Or staying up late,
Staring at the moon
And if someone boasts about,
What he did for Allah,
And asks you to tell him,
What you did for Allah
Just Say, "Why should I tell you"
If I did it for Allah?"

The Seed Within . . .

An infantile seed, carried by the wind,
whirls around until reaching its final goal.

Its roots extend and then take firm hold,
embedded deeply within the nourishing soil.

Hence springs forth, for all eyes to behold,
the glorious vision of a grand tree.

Indeed is the Plan, the best of Designs,
Decreed by the Wisdom of our Mighty Lord.

Each creation carries its own seed within,
following along a similar course.

A miniscule entity may be our start,
ahead of us, great things may be in store.

The outcome of our seed is yet to be seen.
That which we reap proceeds from what we sow.

Indeed is the Plan, the best of Designs,
Decreed by the Wisdom of our Great Creator.

Allah knows best

Punishment for cursing the Sahaba

Saad bin Abi Waqas (may Allah be pleased with him) one day heard a man grumpling; when he listened closely to what he was saying he realized he was abusing Ali, Talhah and Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them). He told him to stop, but he would not listen and continued. Finally, Saad bin Abi Waqas (may Allah be pleased with him) lost his temper, and said if he did not control his tongue he would put a curse on him. Arrogantly the man told him that he was arrogating powers to himself and he asked him if he thought he was a Prophet..

Listening to the man’s bitter words, he merely turned away. He went, made his ablutions for prayer and offered two supererogatory units of prayer. Then he entreated Allah Almighty:

“Oh Allah you know that this man is abusing men of purity, with whom You Yourself are Pleased because of their goodness. Surely You will not approve of theses abuses. May this man be a lesson for such other men.”

He had barely done with his supplications when people saw that a raging she-camel had broken away from the rope which tethered her, and leaving her home had entered in the midst of a crowd of people. It seemed as if she was looking for a particular person. In seconds she had the head of a person in her bloodthirsty jaws and was shaking it violently from side to side. Finally his neck broke and in no time he had become the prey of death. People were stunned in silence. The dead man was non other than the one who had been abusing the noble companion a few minutes earlier, and against whom Saad bin Abi Waqas (may Allah be pleased with him) appeared. He had indeed become a lesson for people.
