Land Grabbers and Occupiers
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Whoever seizes any portion of land unlawfully will be swallowed up by it on the Day of Resurrection, and will sink to the seventh earth.” [Bukhaari]
Be careful not to takeover even an inch of land that des not belong to you. You will not be able to carry its weight on the Day of Judgement!
Some people like to takeover little portions of land adjoining their houses, other times governments grab huge swathes of land and illegally distribute it among themselves and their supporters. All officials involved in such illegal occupation should realize that no one can stand up to Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) and they will have to pay heavily for their crimes on the Day of Judgement.
