:salam2: brother!
I have watched it on TTI last year. I dont think such videos should be made and I certainly don't think they should be circulated.
It is a disrespect to the brother who is on his death-bed.
It is indeed unimaginable how painful and scary experience it may be to be leaving the loved ones and the known world and departing to an entirely different existence.
And leaving this world unprepared is even scarier as most of the people are never prepared for such event, but when time comes, we got to go even if we don't want to.
As much as such videos and subjects can persuade us to think about what we should do for ourselves and others while we have the opportunity of life, it can also have a very damaging effect on one's desire to live a normal life.
Brothers and sister!
Life is Nima (blessings and endowment) of Allah ta'ala and it should not be lived entirely with fear of death.
I think we should follow a middle path between thinking too much about death and ignoring it altogether.
"Thus We have appointed you a
middle nation, that ye may be witnesses against mankind, and that the messenger may be a witness against you"
2:143
I see too many brothers and sisters, specially in a very young age, mentioning death all the time while they have a life ahead of them to work for themselves, their parents and families and for the muslim ummah and the entire human race!
If we follow the way of the prophet pbuh and his companions, then I think we would not deprive ourselves from the beautiful side of life.
The life of this world, eventhough not the purpose and eternal, is beautiful and a means of preparation for the real one.
I hope I haven't said anything that goes against the real teachings of Islam.
Wassalamu alaikum and may Allah ta'ala bless your lives. Ameen
