salaam to all, my father passed away last july.ive heard many people give their own views on what they've heard on what happens to the deceased after death.......

. many say the soul of the body always roams around the house he /she lived in?

. do the deceased come to visit there families on thursdays?

. some say the deceased watch what their family do?

. if we do something wrong will it effect my father in his grave?

i understand some of these sayings are just myths in the local community.i was hoping somebody can quote me authentic hadeeths about the points above.much appreciated.thanks

no the spirit stays in the grave until the day of judgment
you are not responsible for your father, if you do any good deeds your father will not get the share
Your father is not responsible if you commit a sin
and lastly if your father(after he died) had a smiling face then he probably saw the beautiful angels, thats not necessary but it confirms your father is going to Heaven
In between my Grand Father had a smile on his face
Obviously God knows best
