Mabrook! Br.samir would be released today.

Seeking Allah's Mercy

Qul HuwaAllahu Ahud!
Asalamo`Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh,

I remember Br.Muhammad saying he'll be released after 21 days. If I know my counting, today's 21st day. I hope he's prayed Jumma with his family by now. Mabrook everyone!

I'd like to remind everyone about the other Muslim prisoners. Those who are having it much more tough. We should keep them all in our prayers. Who knows, when it is the hour of acceptance of dua.

I'll quote Br.Tariq Mehanna; When he was asked:

3. What can us Muslims on the outside do to help you?
Tariq: The one thing I ask is that you wake up about a half hour before Fajr time, make wudu’, pray two rak’at, and while you’re in sujud, mention my name when you pray for the freedom of your brothers and sisters.

May Allah hasten his release, and Afia's and Abu Taubah's and Babar Ahmad and his five companion's and Umer khadr's. May Allah be with them in these hard times and forgive us all for our sins.

Well observed.

I understood he was finding the good in what had happened. I pray he finds good now it is behind him, he seemed to be needed on the outside too.

This is a timely reminder that, not to lessen our thoughts and dua for muslims in distant places, our thoughts and help and dua are needed among our neighbours and within our own communities too.

Alhamdulillah.

Forgive my ignorance but what happened to this brother?

It's so sad to think that there are so many brothers and sisters behind bars. I consider them my heroes. May Allaah grant them the highest level of jannah.

And ameen to your duas sis.

JazaakAllahu khayraa akh. Yes, he was required outside, and I'm hoping Allah has revealed some of His wisdom on keeping him in briefly. That would really be humbling.

That's really a good point you've made. I think if we manage to get past our egos and think bigger than our own small world, that won't be a problem Inshaa`Allah.

I think I confused you, I'm talking about Scotty's (Br. Muhammad's) cousin. Remember he asked us to pray for him?

It makes me loose sleep sometimes when I'm get the sudden realisation of their loneliness. They are heroes ukthi. I derive strength from their words. Most of all, I love reading tariq mehanna's words. Mashaa`Allah he's so strong!

I feel the most for Afia, being a sister myself, and think the greatest loss the English speaking Ummah faced by imprisonment of a person was by imprisonment a gem like Abu Thubah. So much knowledge all locked up. I suppose the Ummah deserves it, given our `amaal.

May Allah make His deeds accepted, and keep him steadfast. Also may Allah show the real beauty of Islam to brother Scotty.

Ohh alhamdulillah, I remember him. Glad he's fine.

And yes, prison is no place for a brother like Tarek. Or a poet like Talha Ahsan. So sad..

We should make a thread for Br. Tarek's articles and poems. I always learn something from them.

True.. May Allaah free her and reunite her with her children :(

And may Allaah free all of our brothers and sisters in prison.

"Any voice that calls for this Islam, they either kill the person or the character; they kill the person by murdering or jailing them, or they kill the character by distorting their image in the media." -Sheikh Anwar Al Awlaki RahimUllah.

As accurate as this statement could get.. he lived it. Subhan'Allah.

My brother is almost his age, and my cousin exactly his age. I couldn't help counting the days since I'm living with the same specie. Alhumdulillah if he's out and I pray he remains strong if he's to spent 28 days instead of 21.

It's Tariq with a "q". I know you disagree.

I believe it's tariq meaning "The shooting star" as per Surah tariq in the Qur'an. Read Surah Tariq1-3

I don't really keep up with up their news. I get depressed. Talk about being mean but I think the ummah can do without dealing with the vents of another useless piece of flesh.

Ameen to your duas.
