Allah knows best! - It is more beneficial for us to think about what we do with our lives and to get closer to Allah, than to ponder over such matters. - It is a matter of the unseen.
Salam Brother,
I'd like to point out that the Prophet(sallAllah Alaihy wa sallim) thought and taught us o think that the Qyamah is most near, and this was said more than 1400 years ago, what about us? Surely the hour gets closer and closer but also surely we should live our everyday with our ''Balanced Islam'' which in arabic is DIN-UL-WASATY<--This means that our religion is far from any excesses in the negative and positive sense and thus we should leave peacefully our everyday life simply doing our best and being the best muslims we can be, it could be hard but trust me when the Mahdi will come(wether in our lifetime or not) it will be the BALANCED muslims who'll be his best helpers and the ones who did nothing and simply waited for him to come or the ones who wasted time talking about something which is not beneficial at all..of course remembering the sings, the mahdi and so on is good, but guessing wether we'll see him or not will not change anything because as The Prophet (sallAllah alaihy wa sallim) said: ''Each one's judgmenet starts at the moment of death'' Salam again! And thanks for the thread
Everyone that has claimed this so far has been wrong.
So I will say no, not in our lifetime inshallah. RasulAllah SAW used to pray that he would not live to see the end of time because there would be so much fitnah. May Allah SWT protect us, and our kin, all the way up until the Day of Judgement from these and all fitnah. I think it is still a long ways away since their is one hadith that mentions the land of the Arabs will be a forest again.
