As far as I know, making parents content with us is something very important and we gotta obey them in worldy manners especially.
What if we prolong our school 1 year for example (by failing from classes because we didnt study so hard or we didnt take classes on their time due to flexiness of ourself) and surely that would make our parents upset because they always want best from us, then in that case Would we be sinful because we didnt study soo hard ? Of course they will not be like ''ooooooh, how can you do that ? You make us mad'' but at least, as every parents, they might be like ''i wish he finished his school on time, but what to do...'' you know. Its not like making them angry or mad, but its like making them not content with us.
