Making vows - please help

:salam2: all. I have a question that I hope that some knowledgeable person can advise on or answer. If I would like to make a vow or pledge to Allah (swt) that I will give some sadaqah or a udhiya (animal sacrifice) if one of my halal duas is answered, is it permissable. Can such a vow simply be made orally by myself. Please advise.

Yes- I guess you can.
You don't need a big ceremony!:lol:
Just remember Allah- say your du'aa, or delcarment, say Bismillah, and cut it the right way.

Insha'Allah it will be excepted.
