A nice way to learn more about marriage from an islamic perspective... :)

The main purpose of marriage is to build the Ummah because the first nucleus of the Ummah is the family. The family is the first piece and the first structure in the local level and it is the main and focal element in the whole Ummah. If the family has unity, harmony, tranquility, peace and a goal and they know what they want in this life and in the hereafter they will be a strong family.

If the family is strong the local level will benefit from them, if the local level benefits from them, they will benefit the Ummah that will result in the begining of a new Ummah. The more the family is strong, the more the ummah will be strong, and the more the family is weak the more the whole ummahwill become weak.

The Importance of The Role Of Women In Islam

The role of women in Islam is more inportant than that of men because they are the educators of the new generation of the Ummah. This is why Islam recognizes the fact that if the women are good, the family is good and thus the local is good. Therefore the Ummah becomes strong and good, meaning they benefit others and they know what their duty and their goal is.

And the opposite of it happens when the women are in chaos, in a wonderland, full of duniya and full of this life, occupied in just collecting material comforts; these women have no goal. Therefore there will be no success in the local level and no success for the whole ummah. Any one who understands this deen and understands the way of life of islam will discover that the first problem that the Ummah is facing today is because of the family.
