Gosh what are they doing over there? What's with the buildings anyway?
I think they are doing a bit TOO much to Mecca and Medinah, and now this Masjid is the size of a palace in Jannah.

Hey man com'on Muslim population is increasing with every new day...so those who are having money and health,they wants to go for Pilgrimage every year...so these might be to accomodate more and more people for HAJJ ....
and those buildings might be for the accomodations of pilgrims.. what do u say ? do tk cr rem me in ur du'as and keep smiling

if i ever went to hajj insha Allah i would go and id like to stay in a tent, im not saying staying in a hotel nullifys your hajj but to me i really just want a simple pilgrimage, no luxury or lavish lifestyle
and that money to build those buildings could go to a lot of nobler causes like feeding the poor, there are sick and starving muslims all of the world, just cause the Saudi family has money does mean they should spend it in that fashion

I agree with u brother but not fully....there are many ppl dying with hunger and all...but Saudi Government is working for that..u can't blame them bro...and whats wrong making those Masaajids beautiful and stylish???Its there many and they are not wasting it its also a noble purpose...

no problem bro but honestly if u look at the early islamic history especially during the rightly guided caliphate, money wasnt being used to decorate masjids but it was being used for the people, to feed them, clothe them ect. Theres nothing wrong with beautifying a mosque but you cant make it your first priority, yes i dont deny the saudi family not helping those less fortunate but if they want to take they sole responsbility of caring for the 2 holy places on earth then they better over achieve everything they do, especially when it comes to helping the poorer muslims, with the amount of money the family has they could make nearly every muslim on the planet well financed
